Fútbol Más present in the ‘Cup Safe Neighborhood 2025’, together with the Ministry of the Interior of Peru

Male and female beneficiaries of Football in Peru were the protagonists of the latest edition of the Copa Safe Neighborhood, organized by the Ministry of the Interior. This event aims to promote the practice of sport and the good values in adolescents who live in the area targeted multi-Sectoral Strategy Safe Neighborhood in Metropolitan Lima and Callao. 

The inauguration took place in the estadio municipal Carlos A. Moscoso Surquillo, where they met 36 delegations of minor participants, along with their respective police stations and neighborhood boards. 

The opening counted with the presence of Julio Diaz Zulueta, minister of the Interior and former vice minister of Public Security; Federico Tong, president of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD), in addition to local authorities in Lima and Callao. On behalf of Football in Peru, was present Ivonne González, executive director. 

Prior to the start of the championship, Football was an activation leading to the Green Card at the center of the court. Through dynamic, participatory, promoted values such as respect and fair play among the participants. 

This activity was made possible thanks to the alliance between Football and the Interior Ministry, which seeks to strengthen the coexistence and security in the community through the sport through the creation of spaces where children and adolescents develop their social-emotional skills, and physical in protected environments within the territories prioritized by Safe Neighborhood. 

More soccer Peru recognizes the work of their articulators in each district, who promote the sport and contribute to the creation of safer places.
