With a sports fair in Quintana Roo, the social-sports program by Fútbol Más Mexico and LIV Golf came to an end.

In October of 2023, Fútbol Más Foundation started interventions in two communities in the Municipality Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, Mexico: Neighborhood Maya and Region 100. In partnership with LIV Golf, and thanks to your program "Potential, Unleashed", focused on positively impacting the lives of more than five million young people around the world, supporting their development through organisations such as local and global, so that they have more opportunities for training, education and employment.

Since that time we have seen the hand of the Green Card has strengthened the social fabric of communities and, increasingly, children, and young people were coming to the sessions. Barrio Maya and Region 100 is joined to work from the first stage in CAT - care Center temporary DIF - and CBTIS 111 Leona Vicario; in the second stage, we were in the Technical Secretariat 19 Sister Cities Oaxaca.

This month of June, as the closing of the project, we live many landmarks accompanied by the excitement of the end of a great cycle. On the one hand, graduated 14 community leaders of the neighborhoods, demonstrating that they are young models for their communities and for another, the renewal of the court of Region 100, a project that was created in co-creation with the community and Photiowho uses it is an additive nanotechnology that, when mixed with the paint, transforms those surface into air purifiers. Although they are different actions, both milestones reflect a legacy of the Fútbol Más program, along with LIV Golf.

The Fair Sport this June 30, was intended to bring together both neighborhoods and generate a space of connection with the community, which was attended by more than 60 boys and girls in our communities, in addition of different associations government: GEAVIG -Specialized Group of Care of Family Violence and Gender - Municipal Institute of Women, Directorate-General for Economic Development, Address the Prevention of Crime and the Municipal Institute of Sport. The most important was the link that was generated was the link, and the coexistence within the fair. They were able to live among themselves, in addition to recognize government services. The children also participated in other activities and it gave a very nice social cohesion. Everything went very well.

In 2024, the Fútbol Más programs in Mexico benefited from a little more than 2500 young people under 25 years of age, who were positively impacted: 46% improved their effective communication, 22% clarified their goals and ambitions, 32% are more able to solve problems and 21% gained confidence in himself.

It remains for us to thank all the families, children and young people who trusted in Fútbol Más and repletaron the fields of Green Cards, football and golf, a sport that many were unaware of, but which was no doubt learned the tools for life, as was the case of Axel (15) , one of the young leaders of Neighborhood Maya:

I have learned many things thanks to Fútbol Más: to work my emotions, improve physically and exceed my expectations. As a leader, it feels very nice that the children come to you and ask you to learn something, even more in the Neighborhood Maya, because now the court has become a community, and it is no longer empty as before. Today I can say that the golf course occupies a very important place in my life and I have learned many things.
