Futbol Mas was participated in the sixth version of the Seminar Un Gran Lugar para Crecer in the Region de Los Ríos
Foundation Futbol Mas came to the Liceo Antonio Varas del Lago Ranco, to present, from his 17 years of experience in the territory, the transformative power of sport in a theoretical-practical workshop.
In his seven years in the region de Los Ríos, Futbol Mas, he has worked in various communes (Futrono, La Unión, Lago Ranco, Valdivia, Mariquina and Lanco) through different programs sociodeportivos. The programs of the foundation seek to promote the well-being of children and adolescents, develop their skills and strengthen social cohesion in their communities.
Futbol Mas was invited to participate of the sixth version of the seminar Un Gran Lugar para Crecer (UGLC), an initiative developed by Educational Group that had a special focus on sharing strategies of participation and influence in public management with a focus on improving the well-being and integral development of children and young people.
Until the Liceo Antonio Varas was attended by about 80 professional representatives of the teams, community management, public services, regional as the Seremi of Social Development, the Instituto Nacional del Deporte, La Corporación de Amigos de Panguipulli, La Corporación de Amigos de Lago Ranco, among others.
The opening counted with the presence of the mayor of the commune of Lago Ranco Miguel Meza, and the participation of Marcela Preciado García de Quevedo, director of Ciudad de Niñas y Niños of the Government of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.
On the part of Futbol Mas, his exhibitors were Perrine Mardiné, director of the innovation lab of Futbol Mas Global, and Constance Garnica, coordinator of the territory of the region Metropolitana. After the seminar, Perrine, mentioned that “the sport and the game are not just entertainment and distraction, are also very powerful tools for learning, for the development of skills and the cohesion in the communities.”
In turn, the director of the innovation lab of Futbol Mas Global added that “by implementing programs sociodeportivos as the Futbol Mas in the neighborhoods and in the schools, we can transform the reality of many children.”
Within the presentation, Perrine Mardiné presented the methodology of Futbol Mas and how it brings in the neighborhoods and schools of the country. After that, Futbol Mas was invited to participate Nancy Ulloa, in charge of school coexistence of Colegio Jose Manuel Balmaceda (where Futbol Mas has implemented its program from 2021 to 2024), located in Futrono, who shared his experience. The professor highlighted the contribution of the programme to the school life between students. In addition, he stressed the instance of the shrine of education contributed to the self-care of the teachers in the school.
Then, Constance Garnica encouraged a practical workshop where the participants in the seminar were able to participate in the activities sociodeportivas. These activities were focused on the sense of belonging, to gender equality and the recognition of emotions.
The participation of Futbol Mas in the sixth version of the seminar Un Gran Lugar para Crecer, reflects the ongoing commitment of the Foundation to social transformation through sport. This space not only allowed us to share experiences and knowledge, but also reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between various actors in order to improve the living conditions of the children and adolescents of the region.
