F\u00fatbol M\u00e1s is proud and grateful to sportanddev the invitation to be part of its Steering Board to support and jointly strengthening sport for development in Latin America and the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Board of Directors of sportanddev<\/em> it is integrated by eminent leaders in the field of sport and development. This agency is responsible for overseeing the governance and strategy of the platform, and recently led a process to select a Latin american organization to join the council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, sportanddev<\/em> it has been associated with F\u00fatbol M\u00e1s, reference organization in the field of Sport for Development, founded in Chile in 2008. F\u00fatbol M\u00e1s has been invited to join as the newest member of the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This partnership is part of the commitment of sportanddev<\/em> to build a more equitable, inclusive, and with greater impact, amplifying the voice and visibility of southern actors in the world. In particular, it seeks to highlight regions such as Latin America, which have relevant initiatives in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, sportanddev<\/em> you acknowledge that the information, tools and resources in the world of Sport for Development are often inaccessible, fragmented, exclusive and only available in English, which generates inequality of opportunities. To address this situation, the platform has launched its website and an online course massive and open (MOOCS) in the four official languages of the United Nations, including the English, that account with 559 million speakers, being the fourth most spoken language in the world with a strong presence in Latin America.

Marion Keim, president of the Board of Directors of sportanddev<\/em>, welcomed this addition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very excited to welcome them as the first member with Latin american roots in our Board. For his part, Victor Gutierrez, co-Founder of F\u00fatbol M\u00e1s and Expansion Director \u2014who will represent the foundation of the Steering Committee\u2014 said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
