Thanks to the Chile-Spain Triangular Cooperation Fund, the program 'Educando desde el Deporte y la Actividad F\u00edsica, Transformamos la Realidad' will be developed to promote the inclusion of technical-pedagogical tools in the training of teachers and students. It is expected to benefit close to 1,000 children in Asunci\u00f3n.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday 10 April was formally the first socio-sport session at School Virgen de Luj\u00e1n in Asuncion, Paraguay. One of the two educational institutions that will host the program. The instance was attended by 22 children and focused on the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits, taking into account the meals necessary for better nutrition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the specific objectives of the project include the promotion of learning, the strengthening of processes of resilience, and social-emotional development of children and young people through physical activity, play and sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program \u2018Educating through Sport and Physical Activity, we Transform the Reality\u2019 is made possible through the Agency of the Chilean International Cooperation for Development (AGCID) and the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID), who, through the Chile-Spain Triangular Cooperation Fund, made it possible to carry out the initiative in Asunci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive Director of AGCID, Enrique O'Farrill says: \u201cthis Fund has been positioned as a leader in these 13 years of operation and we hope to continue to strengthen in the coming years. Throughout this time, a way of working has been consolidated that has made it possible to combine Chilean and Spanish efforts, experiences and knowledge in projects that have addressed various areas of development in several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are sure that Futbol Mas is a great ally to carry out the objective of this Fund\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monserrat Villalba, head of the Futbol Mas project in Paraguay reflects on the project's inception, \"At the schools in Fe and Alegr\u00eda we not only promote physical activity through sports and games, but it is also a key tool for social development. As professionals, we recognize the importance of cultivating values such as teamwork and solidarity through sport. In this context, this project becomes a vehicle for the integral growth of children and young people\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already in 2023, the project had its first milestone in Santiago de Chile, in the Agency Chilean International Cooperation for Development (AGCID), where it was performed the launching ceremony of the project triangle that would be implemented through the Chile-Spain Joint Cooperation Fund. The ceremony was headed by the Executive Director of AGCID, Enrique O'Farrill and the Ambassador of Spain in Chile, Rafael Garranzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is precisely one of these projects that Foundation Futbol Mas presented and that today began to be implemented in Asunci\u00f3n under the Sport for Development strategy, which has been validated in different intervention contexts, especially in the field of education, contributing to the development of technical and socio-emotional skills that enhance learning, school coexistence, mental health and the integral development of each person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
