Initiative ‘We are fans’ will debut in the classic between San Luis and La Calera
The milestone will bring together 200 fans from both teams, who will share a sector within the stadium, seeking to promote healthy living conditions in sports venues.
In the preview of one of the classics of the fifth region, Braulio Leal and Gonzalo Abán, captains of San Luis and La Calera, respectively, participated in the official launch of “Somos Hinchas”, an initiative that will be held for the first time in the game that will face this Saturday at 12:00 hrs., in Quillota.
In the preview and during the event, 100 Canarian fans and 100 fans of the cement box will share the same sector of the stadium, sending a signal that climate of well-being and healthy coexistence can be generated among those who attend the stadium, regardless of the colors and sports rivalries.
At the launch of this new initiative, which is part of the campaign Lo Lindo del Fútbol, arrived Sebastián Moreno, director of the ANFP and Iván Cisternas, governor of Quillota, accompanied by Camila Durán, general manager of San Luis de Quillota, Martín Iribarne , general manager of Unión La Calera and Víctor Gutiérrez, executive director of Fundación Fútbol Más.
In this context, Sebastián Moreno commented that “these are concrete actions for the family to return to the stadium. The concept of having a school of fans where respect is encouraged from the training of children, for us is very important and comes to consolidate the increase of public since 2015 that has increased by 50%.
Similarly, Leal noted that “I’m happy with this activity, with this type of initiative we take steps forward as a society and football is not immune to this.” Likewise, Abán said that “it is very nice that my son has the opportunity to be in the tribune of San Luis on the day of the match and see his father. I congratulate the people who are doing this. ”
It should be noted that this is an initiative promoted by the ANFP, CDF, Estadio Seguro and Fundación Fútbol Más, as well as San Luis and La Calera, who wanted to be pioneers in this type of sports citizenship training initiatives.
