In 2013 Fútbol Más Haiti was implemented in the school of Bas Canaan. Due to the earthquake in 2010, thousands of people arrived in the area of Canaan in search for a place to settle. Today, more than 200,000 people are living in this area and it has become one of the largest human settlements on the continent.

After two years of intervention, the program was formalized thanks to the support of Fondo Chile, an initiative of the Government of Chile. Furthermore, a second institution was added to the continuing work, the Divina Providencia school.

Since then, the program has been carried out by a team of Haitian-Chilean professionals, who work with children in the third, fourth and fifth grade through social-sport workshops and with training programs for young leaders, teachers and parents, to strengthen social capital and the sustainability of the program.
